Cruise

So we are going on a cruise.
By we I mean Anna, Roger, myself, and others.
I am very very excited to be going on my first cruise. Many of you have heard the story about how the cruise fell through last summer, that was stressful and upsetting. But this year there is no falling through, we are CRUISING!

Hopefully we will confirm the trip in the next week or so. We are looking at a 9 night cruise in June. It will be a nice break after closing and before summer work ramps up. It will be very hot and I am sure Anna and I will burn, but it will be a blast.

It looks like the ship we are sailing on is the same one Jenna just took on her cruise. She enjoyed it. I am just really looking forward to eating food, relaxing, taking an excursion or two, going to the spa, ect.

I hope to have more to post as the trip is finalized.

Bryan and Gregs Excellent (or not so) Adventure

Mission- dinner at Buca di Beppo in DC.
Status- almost a failure

So after a LONG day of interviewing, Greg and I decided to head into DC to get some dinner at Buca di Beppo, basically one of Greg's favorite places to eat. I grab directions off of Google Maps and we are good to go. Well DONT TRUST GOOGLE MAPS!. We left at 6:30, we should have arrived at 7pm, we arrived at 8pm. The directions were wrong, I thought I would get us into DC. No luck, we were on Penn. Ave in the wrong directions.

BRIGHT IDEA, call Lisa. Lisa is making risotto, she cant talk. Kitty gets out a map and gives me directions. We miss 17th street, we end up in Virginia. I eventually get us back to DC. Frustrated we find Buca di Beppo and pay for valet parking.

Dinner was good, took a lot of food home.

HOME. We had no idea how to get out of DC, we drove around for a half hour and eventually found the 295 home. It was an adventure!

New Home, well 7 months old

Some of you may or may not know. I moved from my first apartment at Towson University in Tower D, to Harriett Tubman House, otherwise known at Tubman in August 2008. It is a part of a developing part of campus called West Village, which over the next 10 plus years will grow to include atleast 6 new residence halls and in 2011 a new West Village Commons. Below are pictures of Tubman and its mirrored sister hall William Paca House, pronounced PayCa, not the Baltimorean PahCah.

I will post pictures of my apartment when I get the chance to take some new pictures. I am currently at ACPA, in my hotel room, attempting to blog as I watch Law and Order and regret having shaved my beard a week ago, because now I am clean shaven for conference, and clean shaven is not my look.
